BIOGRAPHY
Glen joined Nowak & Fraus Engineers (NFE) as a principal in 1998 after a 27 year career at the Oakland County Drain Commissioner’s Office. He began his tenure with Oakland County as a staff civil engineer and was subsequently promoted to project engineer, assistant chief engineer, chief engineer and division manager, before becoming chief deputy drain commissioner in 1994. He has extensive experience in the area of storm drainage, hydraulics, hydrology and water resources, and has authored a number of published technical papers. In addition, Glen has academic experience at Macomb County College, where he taught drainage design as an adjunct professor. Glen obtained his Professional Engineer’s license in 1975 and his Professional Surveyor’s license in 1979. He is a Civil Engineering graduate of Wayne State University and maintains memberships in the American Society of Civil Engineers, Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors, American Public Works Association and South Oakland County Municipal Engineers. Glen serves as engineering and surveying consultant to the City of Birmingham, and oversees many private development projects. His services are also engaged by practicing attorneys in need of an expert for legal matters involving drainage, surveying and water resource issues. Glen serves on NFE’s Board of Directors.
