Nowak & Fraus Engineers (NFE) understands the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Local Governmental Agencies require that prequalified firms provide surveying, design and construction administration services on their publicly funded infrastructure and transportation projects.  NFE is prequalified by the MDOT in all major surveying, design and construction administration categories.  Our professional staff has obtained all critical certifications required for prequalification and uses MDOT standards and specifications to design and administer construction projects on behalf of the MDOT and Local Governmental Agencies.  Our familiarity with MDOT requirements extend beyond governmental work as we utilize the MDOT’s time tested standards in completing design and construction projects for private projects as well.  Below is a listing of categories NFE is prequalified by MDOT:
